But it was worth it. It was so very worth it and with her daughter in her arms Eliana can understand exactly why her mother went through this so many times, why her sister went through this for her own daughter. The babe is a delight, captivating all of Eliana's attention now that they're both cleaned up and as exhausted as she is Eliana can't look away. From the whisps of blonde on her head, to her little lashes fanned out against her cheeks as she dozes in her arms. Chubby cheeks and a perfect little mouth,. Tiny fingers that curl so tight around one of Eli's own and even her little feet are perfect and she can't look away. Not for a second even as she shifts forward and lets Thranduil drape a blanket around her shoulders and she's sure he understands, even if his firstborn is long grown.
"She's perfect..." she murmurs though, in acknowledgement of his presence and her cheeks ache from her smiling as she finally glances up for a brief second before her eyes are back on her newborn. "I don't think I've ever seen something as perfect, ever."
