The rap on the door has been long expected and yet Charlotte still takes her time to answer it. She makes a detour by a mirror, running fingers through her styled curls, checking brilliant white teeth, her incisors just that touch sharper than normal and her lips are still painted their ruby red.

Tavris may start to think she's been all forgotten about but suddenly the door opens and Charlotte's there, still an impressive figure even without her heels. And she smiles, sweet like before but there's danger in the corners now, her voice a purr when she speaks. "Miss Nitram. I was half wondering if you were even going to come." She steps away, leaving her to come in and shut the door as moves back to the table to pour another glass of wine. "Come in, come in."
