But back away from the water, babe, you might drowned (The party isn't over tonight)

The way little Miss Nitram watched her was impossible to miss, and that in turn is what pulls Charlotte's attention to the girl. In truth she had overlooked her when classes first started, what with her being as meek as a mouse and Charlotte had assumed the girl would never be the type to play along with the games. Too goody two shoes, stick to the rules. As much as she did like them meek and naive, innocence personified Charlotte wasn't an idiot. She knew the importance of picking girls who would appreciate her attentions, and knowing enough to stay silent about them too.

Now she curses herself for overlooking the girl. She could have been having so much fun, had she paid attention at the time. She's lucky she realised at all, that the way the girl kept blushing and stuttering wasn't because she was a simpleton but simply a little girl with a crush. Charlotte almost wants to laugh because it's perfect. She can make it perfect, and she realises that it'll be so easy to twist and bend this girl to her will.

She starts slow, with things that'll be ignorable to most. It's testing the waters really, seeing if her assumptions are correct. Blouses a smidge tighter, skirts a slight bit shorter and she finds herself with apparent butterfingers whenever she passes Tavris' desk. But it's worth it to watch how her cheeks grow crimson when she has to watch her teacher bend ever so carefully to pick up whatever she's dropped.

But Charlotte has never been the most patient woman, and testing the waters is growing boring. And so she starts to put a new plan in motion, all of it starting when the final bell rings and Charlotte dismisses her students, leafing through papers before speaking up in an after thought.

"Miss Nitram? If you could stay seated, that'd be much appreciated. I'd like to have a small discussion with you." Her smile is sweet to those who don't know her, those who don't see the hunter in her eyes and she knows her prey is cornered even as students shuffle on out.
